Wanna know a secret?

Here it is:
I love grocery shopping, or at least I used to enjoy it.
It was the best "me time" I could manage with three kids and a more-than-full-time job. I would even grab myself a secret sweet treat.
But when I got sick, ME took that away from me. Grocery shopping was a struggle and I often had to take at least one of my kids to help out. If I go shopping, the kids and hubs have to unload the car while I go lay down.
Now I get lots of time with ME. Not the "me time" I want, but here it is. I stay in bed while my husband helps the kids with homework and science projects and my teenage daughter makes dinner. She takes over kid duty as well when my husband works extra shifts to make ends meet.
I signed up for a grocery delivery service today. We will see how well it goes. I got my first delivery this morning (had to-- the battery in the fire alarm expired, causing it to beep every two minutes! Our replacement battery had also expired.).
The delivery person was very nice and very punctual.
My hope is that this way of grocery shopping will help me spend more time with my family.
What are your thoughts on grocery delivery services?

I haven’t used a delivery service, but I use the pick up service from Walmart all the time.
